Playing …

Playing with shadows and reflections …

It’s just so weird that the two lights in the center of the photo are green when the two flanking them are the same sort of lights.

What I can see when I look out the window at them, is that the two outer lights are a warm yellowish glow, while the two inner light–the green ones in the photo–are a cool tone. Wonder if the difference is that they are LEDs? A mystery. I might have to ask Super Gavin who does the maintenance.

And seeing how much local light is actually sent uselessly into the night sky …

No wonder animals living in cities are changing their night time flight paths.

  1. Love all that – I remember observing a nice young lady on a train out of my train window (in the station) reflected in the opposite window, and so on, then of course, once it moved, I couldn’t tell who was leaving and who was staying!!

      1. Happens a lot on trains, I noticed before that you can observe the person in the seat row in front by looking to the right, as their image is reflected off the window opposite – it can be so cuffing figuring out who is even on the same train or another one altogether! In fact, I may have been looking at another train leaving, and seeing the person I assumed was on it was actually on the same train, and in the seat in front! LOL I forget now, it was a long time ago, but these illusions can be so complex!
