Fish … watercolour … Rita de Heer
Pacing is what I’ve been doing. Not much else, than reading and a bit of painting. Because I’ve been going mad due to psoriasis in my ears, all over my scalp and now also on my face. Mad with itch. It’s another auto-immune disorder. Add it to the two or three I already have and you get why I need the pacing.
I’ve been trying to get out into the sun more because that used to fix the psoriasis. Though that means using extra energy, and that means more pacing. Letting stuff go. One Life Lived Well describes pacing beautifully. Give her a read and you’ll know all about it.
The humidity up in your part of the world can’t help…..hope there’s some way to find relief. I am unfortunately familiar with autoimmune issues, however, thankfully, psoriasis isn’t something I have to deal with. But I do know I always feel better in the colder southern states.( More heat= more inflammation…. I’m also trying an anti inflammation diet. Difficult to stick to at present, but it does help a bit). Anyway, your fish painting looked a bit 3D to me at first; the scales look very textured. I hope that the books and the paint can at least add some positivity to your days!
