Surprised myself, taking this shot, and look at the festive lights.

The dark had a few bands of dark grey and I wondered how they’d show up.

Who knew that all that cloud-life, invisible to human eyes, despite them being augmented with new lenses, could be shown by a hand-sized piece of technology?

Its eyes immediately changed the program it usually follows and went into slow motion. Gathering light to itself and noting wavelengths, it transcribed them into colors and festive textures. All before the end of the few seconds it took to record the scene. Magic!

A Blog Post Block …

… will solve my problem on the Art Stories Page. Don’t you just love the tongue-trippery features of this title? I can’t say it fast more than about twice in a row. See how you go?

But. So. Such a block will solve all my problems on the Art Stories Page. A hundred-blogs block will be inserted and away we go.

If only it was that easy. There are a few, maybe ten, aspects to then apply or not depending on how I imagine the Page will look and or work.

A good place to insert one of my favorite sayings … some people call them aphorisms (a pithy observation containing a general truth) … “We’ll see what happens.”

Not very pithy. Maybe not an aphorism. What do you think?

Now … since this is a tech post, I need a tech pic. Let me see. (She rummages around in her albums.)

Snowy on the moon. He’s just lost the sound in his space suit. How will he communicate? Definitely a tech thing.

WiFi Connected …

Snail eating dead fish … even a snail like me can get connected back into the web of life …

So yeah, I’m back online, I’m happy to say. Hotspotting is great if WiFi is impossible due to your geographical position, but it is limiting. For instance anytime I tried to share a post from WordPress to a FaceBook page or to any other platform, for example, I got the We-Are-Having-Trouble-Finding-This-Site screen.

The provider is Connected Australia (www.connectedoz.com.au) and the connection was all done by email and someone talking me through the process on the mobile. The quickest and easiest of the organizational processes I still have to achieve.

Next are a few changes of my address. That should also be as easy as eating pie. Yesterday I was an hour at it trying to convince the MyGov website that yes, I’ve moved house. The good thing about that effort is that my details for Medicare, the ATO and Centrelink were also automatically updated.

I could ask why not the rest of the government institutions connected to the MyGov site. Have to do them by hand, apparently. There’s no logic in that.

One thing AI could be used for is to ferret out such stupidities and correct them. I’d love the government to outlay a few dollars to do a content-defrag in their bureaucracy.

Blogging Stats II: Countries

A whole world of people out there reading this blog … I was amazed to find that I had readers from 46! countries.

Forty-four now unfortunately, with readers from the Ukraine and Palestinian Territories falling from the list.

I thank you all for your interest! I know several of you have been reading my work for more than just this blog when we clubbed together with a U-turn from a previous platform, and landed on Google+.
